Alison L. Broad

 

Alison Broad, an East Haven native, joined Parrett, Porto, Parese, & Colwell, P.C. after earning her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2010. Prior to this, she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology, magna cum laude, from the University of Connecticut in 2005. Mrs. Broad was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 2010 and is a member of the New Haven County, Connecticut, and American Bar Associations.

Attorney Broad practices primarily in the area of family law and is currently accepting clients. She recognizes that for many families, mediation is an appropriate and beneficial option and accordingly does a substantial practice in collaborative divorce and mediation. She has earned a mediation certificate and was the 2010 recipient of the Quinnipiac University School of Law Judge F. Owen Eagan Book Award. In addition, she frequently serves as “review counsel” for mediated divorce agreements on behalf of individual clients.

She also recognizes that for many clients, traditional divorce litigation is more appropriate. Attorney Broad has handled many complex and sophisticated divorce matters, involving both financial and custody components. She is a zealous advocate who works tirelessly for her clients and would be happy to meet with you about the specifics of your case.
