Jennifer Rignoli

 

Ms. Rignoli, a Hamden native, joined Parrett, Porto, Parese & Colwell, P.C. in 2006 and is a Principal in the firm.

Ms. Rignoli has extensive experience in complex litigation and dispute resolution. She represents clients in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies in personal injury and wrongful death claims; mold litigation; workers’ compensation; landlord-tenant matters; commercial litigation; unfair trade practices; insurance claims and coverage issues; employment matters; ERISA litigation; franchise litigation; and contract disputes.

Complementing her litigation practice, Ms. Rignoli also adds strength and depth of knowledge to the firm’s healthcare and regulatory compliance practice groups.  She has recently served as either lead counsel or as part of the firm’s healthcare practice group in the successful merger of six medical practices. 

 

She counsels and assists healthcare providers on a wide spectrum of business and regulatory matters involving: mergers, acquisitions, and dissolutions of medical practices; HIPAA violations and Stark and Anti-Kickback matters; self-reporting; Medicare and Medicaid compliance; privacy and patient care issues; billing issues between providers and government and commercial payers; out-of-network benefits and billing; telemedicine; litigation among physicians; and employment issues.
