Shari N. Spitz

Shari N. Spitz is an associate at Parrett, Porto, Parese & Colwell, P.C. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the George Washington University in 1994. She also received a Masters degree in Forensic Sciences from the George Washington University in 1996. Ms. Spitz graduated cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2003. While in law school, Ms. Spitz was a member of the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal and the Moot Court Honor Society.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Spitz was employed by the United States Secret Service where she worked on matters involving financial crimes and asset forfeiture. While in law school, Ms. Spitz worked as a Paralegal Specialist for the United States Attorney’s Office, District of Connecticut.

Before joining Parrett, Porto, Parese & Colwell, P.C., Ms. Spitz practiced in the areas of aviation and insurance litigation which included products liability and wrongful death claims. She represented clients in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Spitz joined Parrett, Porto, Parese & Colwell, P.C. in 2007. Her practice focuses on civil litigation which includes commercial and business disputes, collections, personal injury, breach of contract claims and insurance coverage matters.
