Before joining the Parrett, Porto, Parese, & Colwell law firm in 1986, Michael Dean Amato obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut. He received his CPA in 1979 and is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Michael has represented clients in a variety of areas, including business law, commercial and residential real estate, zoning and land use, and estate planning and probate.

Michael has a strong commitment to the community and is very active in local government. He resides in Orange with his wife and two children. In addition to his successful career as an attorney, Michael is an active member of the New Haven Country Club and is on the Board of Directors at the Milford Yacht Club. His community involvement and extensive experience serve him well as an attorney for the firm, giving him a wealth of resources to draw from when providing counsel to existing and new clients.
