Hamden Attorney, Joseph A. Aceto

Mr. Aceto graduated from Yale College in 1984, magna cum laude, and Boston College Law School, cum laude, where he served as a member and editor of the Boston College Law Review. After graduating from law school, Mr. Aceto clerked for the Honorable Robert C. Zampano, United States District Court Judge (deceased), a nationally recognized and honored figure in the field of alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Aceto was admitted to the Connecticut Bar and the United States District Court, District of Connecticut, in 1987.

Mr. Aceto has legal and business experience in resolving complex issues for the benefit of a diverse client base and across a broad spectrum of practice areas, including commercial transactions and litigation, alternative dispute resolution (arbitration and mediation), employment law, administrative law, personal injury law and insurance law (first party disputes). Mr. Aceto has trial experience in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative tribunals. He has served as a United States District Court Special Master and Superior Court-appointed arbitrator.

Mr. Aceto resides in Hamden with his wife and three children.
