Alison L. Slater, Hamden Attorney

Ms. Slater, an East Haven native, joined Parrett, Porto, Parese, & Colwell, P.C. after earning her juris doctor, magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2010. Prior to this, she received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology, magna cum laude, from the University of Connecticut in 2005. Ms. Slater was admitted to the Connecticut bar in 2010, and is a member of the New Haven County, Connecticut and American Bar Associations.

While in law school, Ms. Slater was active in dispute resolution, serving as Treasurer and Chairperson for Quinnipiac’s Society for Dispute Resolution. She also competed in the regional client counseling competition in 2009 (finishing 2nd place), and is the 2010 recipient of the Judge F. Owen Eagan Book Award. She served as Articles and Opinions Editor for the Quinnipiac Probate Law Journal, and her note “Inconceivable Consequences” was published in 2010.

Ms. Slater practices in the areas of family law, probate law, and estate planning, and is currently accepting clients.
